First Fashion Favorites of 2017

Hello all,
In order to distract any readers (as well as myself) from the ongoing political drama, I thought that I would share the fashion trends, pieces, and possibly some random things that I have been obsessing over this past month, and the pictures that have been inspiring me. Enjoy!

PS- I thought I would share what my History of Art professor asked me this morning, "Are you confident enough to do what you love and become famous for it?" (He asked me this out of nowhere as I was asking him for a copy of the syllabus). I told him, "Probably not enough", and he responded with, "How do you think these artists became known? They were confident in their work."
Not that being "famous" is a goal of mine, but to make a name for myself somewhere in the Fashion Industry is. I know that it requires a hell of a lot of confidence to get there. And at times it gets hard to be surrounded by science majors, education majors, and nursing majors, who are all book smart and who will ace any bio class no problem. There are times that I get laughed at when I say that I'm a Fashion major (which really sucks), but hearing this random advice from my art professor was exactly what I needed, and I wanted to share with whoever is reading. Confidence is KEY!
