Christmas

Twas the loveliest of lovely days, I spent Christmas day watching a marathon of Bad Girls Club-that's nice (sorry Jesus). But last night we spent with our family playing white elephant and ODing on sugar. I also had a nice little meltdown at the end due to brothers being… well, brothers. And then on top of that I dropped my phone and it cracked, and I lost my cool. Not my proudest moment. 

Anyway, this morning I was woken up by mom- oh how the tables have turned!! And went down stairs to open gifts with my family. It was a good day!!

We then ended our night by playing Cards Against Humanity. Very fun and at times very awkward.

This was the only picture I got of my Christmas Eve outfit, and it was indeed a snap chat. I wore a flannel dress and some cute brown booties from Nordstrom. I'll wear it again soon so I'll post another picture of it.

ALSO… I am still just as- if not more- obsessed with my hair.

These past couple of days I've spent basically the entire day laying around and doing nothing. But I'm making myself feel better by thinking about how hard I worked last semester!! And it payed off. Weird to think I've done better this semester in college than I did throughout high school. 

Here's a couple of pictures from the other day. 

The cutest little apartment in Laguna Beach. In an ally by Main st. So crazy and cute I would die if I lived there. It doesn't even look real. 

AAAAND here is my new blonde hair!!! I'm obsessed with it. I don't know why I ever dye it other colors.

I think the next time I'll post is Christmas Eve, mostly because I'm not doing anything exciting until then. haha.

My Day at Disney

It doesn't make sense to me that Disneyland only gets more crowded, even as the prices of the tickets rise… But today it wasn't as packed as usual-we managed to go on 10+ rides between the two parks. Christmas time is definitely my favorite time of year to go to Disneyland. But if I'm being honest, I'll go whenever. Here are some lovely pictures of my day! Enjoy.

So pretty. I also went through the Sleeping Beauty part of the castle for the first time ever today, talk about anticlimactic. 

I have my last final tomorrow at 10:30 AM and then I'm done with my first semester of college! Crazy. Could not be more thankful for the amazing friends that I have made these past couple of months. So excited for the next 7 semesters we have together…!!

Destressing

I came home last night and took the nicest purple bath (thanks to this Lush bath bomb). I really should have taken advantage of being able to take baths before I left for college..

I also did this lovely face mask and hair mask. The face mask is the Mask of Magnaminty, and the hair mask is called Roots.

I'm about to leave for Disneyland and it's supposed to be raining so I'm hoping it's not as crowded as usual! Plus it's in the middle of finals/mid terms week for most schools. Anyway, here's what I'm wearing! I'll post more pictures late tonight or tomorrow.

My top is Free People, my leggings are from Pink, my jacket is a men's denim jacket from Old Navy, and my rain boots are Steve Madden.

Home for the Holidays

Almost... 

This weekend was a tease, because I have to go back down to SD this week to take my finals. But! I'm coming back Tuesday night (and then going back for a final on Thursday). Pretty complicated and kind of a waste of gas, but you gotta do what you gotta do. And how can I just leave a house that looks like this?! 

and now I'm studying for my fashion final I'm taking tomorrow! Goodnight world :-)

Sleep Deprivation

I thought that I had an idea of the level of stress that I would be in throughout my finals week in college... I was wrong. Cups on cups of coffee have been the center of my sanity with the late night essay writing and studying. 12 page research paper, 4 essays, 3 tests, and 1 speech. And yet I am currently finding time to blog. Priorities!

This morning I woke up at 7:30 and watched some American Horror Story season 3. I forgot how messed up this season was... barf.

I had classes throughout the day and spent the rest of it in the library, and now I'm finally back in the dorm room. I'll probably go on Pinterest and other blogs and maybe watch some Netflix. My roommate and I decided that we didn't want nasty caf food and are eating tortillas for dinner. Oh, the joys of being a college freshman.

My crazy Friday night plans for tomorrow include Nyquil and a bed time of 8 PM.

I would consider my taste pretty expensive (I blame my mom and dad) so I'm trying to keep my own list to a minimum… Usually if I'm lucky my mom adds a couple more presents that weren't originally on my Christmas list, so I'll make sure to post actual pictures of everything on Christmas. 

Lets not forget the reason for the season, though, am I right ladieeeeees!!!!?
